The Gresham Safety Levy Survey is now closed. Thank you to everyone that participated. Your feedback was utilized by Council as they finalized the May 2024 Fire and Policy Levy. Visit Fire and Police Levy | City of Gresham (greshamoregon.gov) for more information on the May 21 ballot measure.

We hear you, Gresham: Community safety is a top priority. But we need your help in making Gresham an even safer community to live, work, and play in.

The City of Gresham is preparing to bring a safety levy back to the voters in May. And we want your help shaping what it looks like.

We’re listening, so tell us...

What is it going to take to protect our community?

We want to hear from you on how we can work together to make Gresham a safer community. What financial steps do we need to take to get to where we need to be? Where you need us — out in the community, keeping you safe.

What’s the problem?

Over the last several years, we have consistently heard your concerns about safety within Gresham. Your desire to see more emergency responses and for the City to be proactive in addressing safety issues.

But we have a challenge of our own. The City is facing a critical budget shortfall in June. It impacts our ability to pay for and provide the public safety services that this community has made clear you value.

What’s the solution?

So, where does this leave us? We need more revenue. We need to pass this levy in May. But this is your community, and your voice matters in the decision-making process. Thank you for taking the time to engage with your City!
